To honor the Women of Long Island that have excelled and created impact in the areas of community, volunteer, philanthropy, and business development. These are women who are leaders and rise above to help create a positive change for the families of Long Island.
Holiday Dream Mission: To assist families in financial distress during the holiday season. To ensure that every child who qualifies for our program walks away with an amazing holiday experience through our "Pick Up Party" - which was held this year at Skyzone, Mt. Sinai.
Holiday Dream 2016 was a huge success thanks to the amazing support we received from our communities and volunteers. We were off to a rocky start when we lost a big donation but our committee managed to think outside of the box and pull off another year helping over 200 families celebrate HOLIDAY CHEER.
Holiday Dream was created to provide cheer to children ( ages birth – 18 ) that have parents / guardian’s that can not otherwise provide. Our families are interviewed for economic hardship and if approved, we service the entire family, regardless of family size.
Our goal is to service over 250 families this year, 2016. As a Long Island 501c3, we know the financial burden of caring for a sick child, supporting a single parent household, paying for medications and keeping the lights on- we are a volunteer organization and 100% of items and donations go directly to support the families in our program.
